Cookies and similar technologies are small files a website stores in your browser. This page sets out exactly what we store, why, and how you stay in control of it.
1. The short version
This site uses no analytics and no advertising tools. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no traffic measurement of any kind. The only element that requires your consent is the embedded Google map in the Venue section — without consent it does not load at all and we show a placeholder panel instead.
2. Strictly necessary technologies
These cannot be switched off, because without them the site would not work or would be unprotected. Under Section 89(3) of Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. they require no consent.

Stored in the browser's local storage, first party. Holds your consent choice so the banner does not ask again on every visit. Valid for 12 months, after which we ask again. It contains only the chosen categories and the date of the choice — no personal identifier.
Form protection (Vercel BotID)
First party, for the duration of the session. Distinguishes a genuine visitor from automated form submission. Without it the registration and accreditation forms would be open to spam.
Editorial content preview
First party, for the duration of the session. Set only for editors signed in to the content management system so they can preview unpublished changes. It is never set for an ordinary visitor.
3. Analytics cookies
We use none. The category appears in the settings so that consent can be given in advance should the site ever adopt traffic measurement; until then, toggling it has no effect, and we will update this page before that changes.
4. Third parties and marketing
Google Maps
The embedded map in the Venue section loads content from servers operated by Google Ireland Limited. In doing so Google may store its own cookies (such as NID or SOCS), with lifetimes running to months, and process your IP address. We therefore load the map only after you consent.
You can give that consent either in the cookie banner or directly with the button on the placeholder panel where the map sits. Directions to the venue open without consent — that is an ordinary link and sets no cookies.
5. Changing or withdrawing your choice
Click the Cookie settings link in the site footer at any time. The same panel you saw on your first visit opens, and your new choice takes effect immediately — withdraw third-party consent and the map stops loading.
You can also clear the stored items in your browser settings. The banner will then ask again on your next visit.
